Printing Sales Orders
(Financial Controller only)
Use this option when you want to print or spool a copy of one or more sales orders. By æbatchingÆ orders in this way you can make sure that the correct sales order stationery is in the printer and can then print out all of your orders at once.
The layout of the sales order document is dependent upon the stationery layout file selected. Not only does the stationery determine the layout of the document layout file used, but so is the content. So if you want certain fields included on the document which are not already present or, conversely, you wish to have certain items removed, you will need to amend the existing layout or create an alternative.
Sage Line 50 gives you standard sales order layouts which are designed to fit the stationery supplied by Sage, but you can edit these or create your own if necessary.
To print or spool sales orders, first select the relevant orders from the Sales Orders window. You can use the Search button if you wish to print a selection.
Having identified the sales order(s) to be printed, click Print Sales Orders.
You can reprint your sales orders as many times as you wish.
